WHO THEY ARE

Studio Bhanu is a Hyderabad art studio making murals, Lippan art, sculptural installations and glass art commissions for luxury interiors.

Commissioned art is bought on taste and trust. A client is inviting someone to make something permanent in their home, often for a significant sum, with no way to see the result in advance.

So the site cannot be a service listing. It has to work like a gallery — establish the studio’s eye first, and make the enquiry feel like the natural next step rather than a sales step.

THE PROBLEM

THE BRIEF

Commissioned art for luxury spaces sells on taste, not on features. The studio needed a site that felt like a gallery rather than a service listing — and one that made a high-ticket commission feel like an obvious next step.

THE RESPONSE

WHAT I DID

Designed the SB monogram, then built the site around it: a full-bleed monochrome image system, oversized condensed display type, and section-by-section snap scrolling so each work lands as its own frame instead of blurring past. Structured the journey across Portfolio, Our Story, a four-step Design Process (Discover & Brief → Concept & Sketch → Refine & Render → Deliver & Beyond) and a direct-contact close with email, phone and WhatsApp. Mobile-first throughout.

HOW I GOT THERE

THE THINKING

01

Build a gallery, not a menu

Snap scrolling gives each work its own frame, so pieces land one at a time instead of blurring past in a grid.

02

Commit to monochrome

Black-and-white throughout means the commissioned art is the only colour in the experience. Restraint reads as confidence.

03

Make the process legible

Discover → Concept → Refine → Deliver. High-ticket commissions need the unknown made procedural before someone will commit.

04

Keep contact one tap away

Email, phone and WhatsApp direct. Art buyers want a person, not a form.
