SHREE OMKAR JEWELLERS
WHO THEY ARE
An exhibition floor is a hostile viewing environment: no audio, no attention, no one to explain what is on screen. The film gets a second or two of peripheral vision as someone walks past.
So the edit is the whole design. Pacing has to do the job a salesperson would.
THE BRIEF
The client needed something to run on screens at his stalls. On an exhibition floor you get a second or two of peripheral attention, so the film had to read with no audio, no narrator and no one to explain it.
WHAT I DID
Cut a presentation film with motion effects and transitions paced for a passer-by rather than a seated viewer — collection sequenced for visual rhythm, key pieces held long enough to register, and the whole thing built to loop cleanly so there is no dead frame between plays.
THE THINKING
Cut for the passer-by
Pacing built for peripheral attention, not a seated viewer — key pieces held long enough to register.
Work silently
No reliance on audio. Motion and light carry it, because the stall will be loud.
Loop invisibly
Built so the last frame runs into the first — no dead beat, no visible restart.
